Bikram Yoga 30 day challenge

Hey there hi there ho there! Health and vitality are two things I have been slowly trying to boost in my life.  I have been very fortunate to find an amazing gal pal,  Diane, who has very similar goals for life boosting.  I was stoked when she asked if I wanted to do some yoga with her. I love yoga! Which yoga? Where? We were both feeling the challenge of  Bikram Yoga so we jumped in! We are going to do as much steamy yoga as we can in 30 days and see how  we are transformed.  Today was my first class at Bikram Yoga of Santa Rosa.   We took the 6:30 class, which is the last class of the day, and it was packed! Steamy steamerton! There were all kinds of people in there at all levels and that made me feel sooo much better being a newbeee.  The person who helped me check in was also our teacher. She was helpful and seemed very personable with her students, helping them correct poses or commenting on their increased ability. I like that lots! As we worked through the poses I felt more relaxed and focused.  Now if I could keep that with me after class, wow what my life would be like! Sounds like that is part of my challenge too. Oh the things that yoga can help you with are endless! Back to the class... After the 90minutes of hotness I felt so jazzed! Although my head was pounding I couldn't help but feel euphoric. No wonder people love it! I cannot wait to see where this challenge will take us! I hope your ready too, 'cause I'm taking you with! If you would like more info on Bikram Yoga visit the studios link above or Go here -->Bikram Yoga.
Until next time, Namaste!

DANG TIME

Yep I said it, DANG. Time flies when your having fun, right?  A whole freaking year. Looks like I better get back to it. sharing my mind with you. aint you special.  More stories of "This Knugg Life" to come, but for now I wish to leave you with a poem.
I want to call it a thought rhyme, not poem.

 My mind is a conductor
lost on this train of thought
moving up and down a path untaught
making space sometimes seem a bit distraught
BUT THEN
through this haze my mind did blaze
the path which I had sought.

TO cuddles

My memory of this event is slowly skipping... how i met chuck. At first I just new him as that guy with the blonde ponytail who was seeing that girl.  Then he was that guy at the party who was always having fun.  And then one time around a fire he talked every one into taking from the little spoon and dranking from a jug of nothing.  It was awesome to wonder if it was real or not.  Was he real or not, is that raging fire real or not...and at that moment the fire reached the tops of the trees and sirens went off and people scattered and lace thought she couldn't breathe.  then it was the year 2000 and somehow we survived that cataclysmic change. It was awesome! then we burnt a couch and bubblegum got stuck in my braces. My new cool friends really know how to kick it.   Over the years many more memories have been made and people have gone here and there and everywhere. Even though chuck comes and goes he always has time for his family, he always has a smile and a handshake...and maybe a prank or two up his sleeve...or a new story about craigslist and balloons...But the best is being apart of a chuck story, like this.... One time he scoooped me up in a golf cart and let me experience the best hi-five hallway ever...created by us and the thursday 6am line at bonnaroo! I will never forget it. My fun times with cuddles will be remembered. thanks for being you-----mofleka

on with the story--to my love of KNUGG

ok, so I meet these cool kids and date a few and then my 18th birthday rolls around.
Past the railroad tracks in a house full of time I have a party
I refused the whiskey but I drank the wine
I was doin good doin great and the porch light was on
The light was bright but I saw you walk through the overgrown hedges
It was raining so inside we went and you talked with my sister and I met you on the bed
We talked and shook hands at the time... I was taken only by circumstance
but at that moment I knew and I said yes to the whiskey and it burned
I left him burned and couldnt wait to see what would happen next
what happened you ask? well the whiskey was good but only last for a moment then back to the matter at hand, a party for the one who offered me the drank and he was there broken and I drank the whiskey and ate the taste of what was familiar. Maybe to make you see i took your hat. and that was that...
I dreamed a little dream and then it came to be
we went to that big white house and made some friends of memories and drove off to the west to make the best of the best and to be where no one could see ....me and you and now we
now here we be
I will enjoy this and you forever---love BGK

entry numero uno

How you doin? I have decided to share some brain waves with the world.   I may or may not use complete sentences or proper grammar. I wish to write with no rules.  Here it goes...

My Knugg Life,
Picture this, the summer of 1997, We move to Murfreesboro, TN from an even smaller hole in the wall.  But for me  the 'boro is the BIG CITY! Before I start this new school I get to see the Real Big Fish at the best and original version of 527 Main St....My older sister who is prego takes me and little sis to the show.  As we pull in the parking lot we see this tall red headed hippie with a beard and a rasta tam.  There he was walking in with his hippie flair and I was like WOW! a REAL HIPPIE! That was something I had only seen on TV or in magazine.  I will never forget it. That night Real Big Fish killed it! And I never thought I would see that hippie kid again.
BACK TO SCHOOL
I push my little sis out the door and into my white bronco II.  We show up at this new school that was huge.  I walk into the cafeteria and see this dude with yucky greasy hair and then a group of cool lookin kids slyly leaning on the wall. At that moment I see a pretty blonde with some wicked cool pants.  She turns around and looks right at me, and then this cute blonde guy next to her turns around and looks at her and then they both look at me.  I smirk and probably turned a bright shade of RED.  I walk past them and casually lean against the wall a little ways up from them.  I think we were getting asigned classes or something.... then all of a sudden  the pretty blonde says, "hey, I like your drawing on your notebook"  it flustered me,  I said thanks, again probabaly redfaced as ever.  Then she said "I'm suzi and this is doug, whats your name?"  Later that day I was chillin outside for lunch and guess who I saw...that red headed hippie from the show.  Crazy.
As the year went on suzi and I became better friends and I found out that doug was not her brother ( I thought they looked a like at first).  I also found out that doug was great friends with that red headed hippie dude, whose name is eric.  I dont remember how we finnally met but we did and then almost instantly I gained a new group of friends.  That meeting in the cafeteria was meant to be. That glance opened a door to friends I now call my family.  I will forever be GRATEFUL for those moments in time that brought us all together.

I have lots more story to tell....but will leave it at this for now.
